At Namaste Healing Arts, I’ve had the sacred privilege of witnessing countless souls rediscover pieces of themselves they didn’t even know were missing. Today, I want to share one such story—a profound past life regression journey from a recent client I’ll call Kisha (not her real name, as we honor full confidentiality for every radiant being that walks through these doors).
Kisha is a vibrant young Black American woman—bright-eyed, deeply intuitive, and naturally drawn to nature, particularly the art of herbology. She came in for a healing session to explore some nagging soul-level blocks, the kind that don’t seem to have a “this life” explanation.
Midway through our session, as I tuned into her energy body and began clearing ancestral and past life residues, a vivid scene began to unfurl before her. Her breathing slowed. Her eyelids fluttered like butterfly wings in trance. “I’m in the woods,” she whispered, “gathering herbs. It’s so peaceful here... but I know this isn’t me... not the me I know now.”
My guides nudged me gently—there was something deeper here. Something identity-shifting.
I softly said, “Find a pool of water nearby, Kisha. Look into it. Tell me what you see.”
A long pause.
And then—gasp! A sound so full of astonishment and disbelief, it nearly startled us both.
“Can I be white?!”
I stifled a laugh—not out of disrespect, but from the sheer beauty of the soul remembering its infinite palette. I had suspected this moment might come. It often does.
“My hair... it’s long... and white. And my skin—I’m white!”
There was a stunned silence. Then the processing began—her expression shifting between awe, curiosity, and deep contemplation.
“It truly changes everything, doesn’t it?” I said gently. “When we begin to remember... we’ve been it all.”
We talked for a while after that. About the illusions of separation. About how we are not just this skin, or this gender, or this story. We are the sum total of lifetimes.
We have been every color.
We have been every faith.
We have been the healer and the wounded, the oppressor and the oppressed.
We have fought wars and made peace.
We have wronged others, and we have suffered injustices too.
And now—at this magical turning point in our human journey—we’re being asked to drop all the karma-coded costumes and simply love. To remember that beneath the flesh and the memory, we are Light. That’s the final lesson... and the best one.
Kisha’s story is just one beautiful example of how healing the past heals the present.
✨ Have you ever felt a deep resonance with a time, place, or culture that didn’t “make sense” to your current life? That may just be your soul whispering.
